With the development of the Nation's Economics, the traffic amount increases rapidly and the loads of the bridges bearing are more and more aggravating. Considering the factors of design construction and age etc, a lot of bridges have been damaged over the days and their carrying capacity have been get down, going so far as to influence their service and need to be maintained or strengthened in time. With the example of chengbihe bridge in Baise, this paper discussed how effective carried on the reinforcement and enhanced the bearing capacity, regarding these existing bridge seriously lacked the design and the construction material. Also the passage summary and develop the reinforcement method, as well as the reinforcement effect research to the existing bridge, mainly including as follow:1,This paper summarized the matters of existing bridge reinforcement, as well as main routine of the reinforcement design. this paper discussed how effective carried on the reinforcement and enhanced the bearing capacity, especially regarding these existing bridge seriously lacked the design and the construction material.2,Also this paper carried on the strengthening effect research, and summarized the general method in bridge load test, as well as studied how to judge the running status by the comparison of the finite element analysis computation theory value and the load test actual value.3,With the example of chengbihe bridge in Baise, this passage discussed the application method of the finite element computation software MIDAS/Civil in bridge reinforcement design. This paper not only has the theories signification but also has the practical value, and offers some valuable data for other homogeneous engineering.
