Research On Dynamic Test Method And Dynamic Performance For Vehicle Engine

With the increases continuously to the request of the engine power performance, economy, comfort and emission regulations when the vehicle is running, the testing demand for the engine and vehicle match performance and engine dynamic performance is more and more high in the testing technique. The method that test parameter of engine steady working condition on engine test bed, can't adapt to research on the vehicle engine dynamic working condition. Automobile researchers and designers need to test parameter of engine dynamic working condition on engine dynamic test system, so that they can research on the dynamic performance of engine.With the development of computer technology, automobile researchers and designers can direct simulate engine dynamic working condition when vehicle is running on road, and simulate the road load and the driver's behaviors on the engine dynamic test system.This paper includes vehicle engine dynamic test method and dynamic performance on research. Through the vehicle engine dynamic test system, we can establish an engine dynamic test project, so that it can simulate the vehicle running and the driver's behaviors, then testing and researching engine dynamic performance on vehicle real running is possible; and we can research on the test, the analysis and the performance appraisal method on the engine dynamic working condition.Through the researching on the engine dynamic test method and performance, it can optimize vehicle engine performance especially dynamic performance. It also can set up a hybrid power system test bed for testing, researching and designing.This paper includes following content:(1)Analyzes vehicle engine dynamic process and control, including process of mixtures, combustion process, engine performance index and so on.(2)Analyzes the system constitution of AVL PUMA Open dynamic test bed.(3)Research engine road simulation test method based on the AVL PUMA Open system, including setting up of engine load model on the dynamic test bed, engine dynamic performance test, vehicle road cycle test, driver's behaviors and so on.(4)Research engine dynamic test method based on the AVL PUMA Open system, including increase and decrease load test, increase and decrease speed test.(5)Analyzes engine dynamic performance, including engine throttle opening rate of change, speed rate of change influence engine power performance and dynamic torque estimate.
