Blasting demolition has more advantage than manual demolition and machinery demolition t: short time limit for a project, lower cost, saving labour force and so on. The blasting designs depend on experience expressions and qualitative analysis. The development of computer technology has provided the new method for the research of blasting demolition. Dynamic numerical simulation has theory significance and project significance for blasting design and construction.In this paper, the object of research is towering structure dynamic numerical simulation. Basic principle and construction of towering structure have been recommended. Some contents have been analyzed by ANSYS/LS-DYNA simulation.(1) Brick chimney makes by separate model, Bilinear Kinematic material, solid element. Reinforce concrete chimney and tower make by hole model, *MAT_BRITTLE_DAMAGE material. Ground and water tank make by rigid material.(2) Four brick chimneys blasting projects have been introduced: unilateralism collapsed, unilateralism fold collapsed, double fold collapsed, original collapsed. The merit and shortcoming of the four projects have been contrasted. With the project, the unilateralism collapsed of brick chimney has been simulation detailed. The relationship of angle and time has been contrasted. Collapsed length has been analyzed. The stress distributing has been analyzed, the chimney where will be broken has been pointed out.(3) The unilateralism collapsed of reinforce concrete has been simulation detailed. The vibration velocities of chimney which have been simulated are similar to the actual result. The simulation result could offered reference to project.(4) Two different of blasting projects of reinforced concrete frame water tower have been simulation. The project which the gap blasted at +4m is up to the mustard. The fact project is similar to the project which we choose.
