Gabled frame is wildly used in all kinds of low-storied industrial and civil buildings for its low cost, short supplement, good aseismic behavior and easy installation. A set of gabled frame is combined by lots of main framing, with the secondary framing of purlin parts fixed on main framing. It can use different kinds of metal wall and roof as the cladding system. Gabled frame could support the whole steel construction's in-plane stability by its own bending rigidity, while the out-plane stability could be supported by the roofing and sidewall. Typical roofing sidewall bracing are composed of the round steel bar or cross steel cable, eave struts and the column on the two sides. So, the load is transmitted in different compositions in projects already completed, e.g. panel-purlin-beam-column-foundation.Gabled frame structures cannot form to a whole building due to lots of restrictions during the construction of beams, columns, bracings and purlins and girts. For example, when beams and columns hoisting has not been finished, when bracing system fixing has not been completed, or when roof or wall panel is still in erection etc., the transmission of load is restricted so that it could not be as stable as the ideal designed situation. Normally on the site the bracing system will be added to handle it temporarily with experience and the section and the location of temporary bracing will be determined with experience as well. This article is to analyze the different situations during construction, and build up model to check the stability and the safety under disadvantage load, and to find out weak point in construction then to do the bracing design such as to define the section and the location of temporary bracing, and put forward theoretical basis through analyzing the problems in construction, and give suggestion in erection process.With the gabled frame construction widely used, the market offer more and more high requirement in the economical property. Since many factors have to be considered during the construction, plus the disadvantage load influence, we need to analyze data systematically and choose economical and rational construction plan instead of stability and safety measures based on pure experience. The analysis work on this article could play great role in perfecting the realization process of construction project in light steel buildings.
