As a solution method for mechanics analysis, finite element method (FEM) develops from the improvement of computer since thirty or forty years. Now FEM has almost been applied on every fields of engineering, and has become a reliable tool of solution analysis. which has been accepted by most engineers. However, the domestic application of FEM drops behind overseas greatly, and we haven't taken full advantages of FEM in most fields.Body plays a significant role in whole automobile from both weight and cost.In the same time, hard revision of forms, high cost of manufacture and mould give some challenge to designers The traditional body design method has some shortcomings such as too long design circle, repeated work and money wasting. There would be shorten at the design and be reduced at the cost when we are application finite element method (FEM) to analyze simulate the body of the car. There would have great potential for applying finite element method (FEM) on the body field.The dissertation is application of use FEM to analyze body, It is a based on the ANSYS program to analysis engineering and body of some company, which builds up the FEM model. and has a solution on stiffness and mode. According to the differences between solution result and experiment result, the FEM model should be revised. According to the result of FEM mode, check and modify the FEM mode. And also according to the FEM and according to the real instance, we put forward design improved.First, this dissertation is a presentation about the characteristic of mini car body, and the method about application of CAE at designing car body. Also introducing the infection of rigidity and intensity to enduring of the body.This dissertation's subject is about engineering application of CAE,We will have more investigation at the body design and analysis in future , It will bring a practical meaning to advancing level of body design and body structure analysis.The question is the application of CAE at practice engineering. It would be practicality meaning at improving designing to body of car and level of analysis.
