Airborne display system is a key component to realize the integration, digitization and intelligentization of airborne avionics. Graphs and images play an increasing important role in the airborne display system, which supply the pilot with integrated information. Three-dimension display is the direction of airborne display system in the future, in which the quality of display and the speed of graphics generation are key issues to be improved.The thesis focuses on three issues about airborne display system.A 3D flight simulation system based on OpenGL is implemented. The software can display natural illumination scenes and infrared scenes simultaneously, according to the aviation information from missile seeker. The user can control the color and the generation of countermeasure bomb, capture and store the pictures of scenes at will in the system. The system can be used in airborne display system.A new antialiasing algorithm is proposed to eliminate the aliasing in display devices which could cause the pilots vision tiredness, wrong read, even miscarriage of estimation. The new algorithms combine the advantages of two pixel width antialiasing method and low pass filtering to improve the display quality. The algorithms have been implemented in DSP, and have got better performances.At last, a coprocessor platform is designed to quicken the graphics generation, which makes full use of the advantages of MPC8540 and TMS320C6713. The module of singal sampling and processing based on FPGA has been designed, where the electrocircuit interface and communication sequence are discussed in detail.
