With the increasing shortage of energy supply accompanying the rapiddevelopment of the national economy of China, to save energy has become asignificant strategy to ensure sustainable development. Building trade, as a chiefconsumer of energy, is expected to carry out the task in no time. On such abackground, this paper discusses the energy-saving design of high-rise buildings andits practices considering the special climatic and geographical features of NanchangProvince. The contents of this study is as following:first chapter revelates that the construction energy conservation is the worldwidebasis big tidal and the important measure of guaranting our country national economydevelopment.second chapter analyzes the present energy consumption situation of high-riseconstruction in Jiangxi Province.Third chapter discusses the energy conservation design method of high-riseconstruction in Jiangxi Province.Fourth chapter discusses the method and way of energy conservation in high-riseconstruction from the non-architectural design angle.Fifth chapter analysises and discusses the energy conservation design method ofhigh-rise construction from practice angle.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, proposed the energy conservation designingtotal route of high-rise construction in Jiangxi Province from the technical plane thegovernment's management plane, the building energy conservation market plane andthe social plane.This article proposed the basic strategy which based on the sustainabledevelopment of high-rise construction, it has certain guiding sense and the practicereference value to energy conservation design of high-rise construction in ourprovince.
