As a landmark building,super high-rise buildings take more and more proportion of the urban construction,this kind of buildings consumes massive energy and resource,which is an important research direction of energy conservation and emissions reduction.In this paper,the energy consumption of super high-rise building water supply system was analyzed and optimized in order to obtain the best form of water supply.Firstly,the common methods of water supply in high-rise and ultrahigh-rise buildings were introduced,through theoretical analysis and calculation model,we draw the conclusion that operation energy consumption can be reduced when adopting frequency conversion and running in the high efficiency area by calculating and comparing the energy consumption of pump-water tank supply system and the constant pressure frequency conversion water supply pump system.By optimizing the number of variable frequency pumps in the constant pressure water supply pump,we obtained that the“one frequency pump two variable frequency pumps”was more energy efficient than“one variable frequency pump two frequency pumps”.Secondly,combined with the example of an ultrahigh-rise building in Xi'an,we divided the water supply system into two types: water pump and constant pressure.Based on the calculation of energy consumption of these two kinds of water-supply,it can be seen that for the ultrahigh-rise building with similar equipment in the middle of the building,the traditional water tank water supply mode was chosen to be more energy efficient.Finally,the FloMASTER software was used to simulate the constant pressure water supply system of the ultrahigh-rise building,we known that:(1)The water quantity and pressure supplied by the pressurized water pump group can meet the water demand and water pressure of the pipe network system;however,the speed of the pipe network can be small and the actual water supply is 20% larger than the theoretical calculation,we can optimize the pipe diameter and pump flow based on the aforementioned information;(2)By analyzing the curve of the user's flow time and the pump power which changing with time,when the flow in the pipe network is small,the actual operating power of the pump is larger,this will cause more energy consumption and can be solved by adding small flow of power frequency pump into the frequency conversion pump group or change the number of frequency conversion pump.(3)We simulated and analyzed the optimized system,its energy efficiency can be improved by 30%~40% and will produce economic benefits of 65 ~135 thousand RMB.In practical engineering,this optimization technique is worth popularizing.
