Based on the situation of water and electric resources, more and more serious energy crisis, saving water and energy is becoming very necessary. In order to keep the society developing in a good condition, the whole societies all should concentrate on to economize water and energy conservation.Water and energy saving in building water supply and drain system is a part of energy saving. Because of the particularity of high-rise buildings, theirs water supply system are more complicated and more typical, and are far superior to general water supply system in technology scope and design depth. There are still lots of outstanding issues in this field. So we will focus on high-rise buildings. Lots of design workers just meet the need, but do not consider much on economize on energy, actually there is still large space for energy and water saving in buildings.Water supply system is an important part in high-rise building design. This thesis introduce high-rise building water supply system present condition, and the main manner of water and energy saving, the existed shortage as well. Survey and test can know, research on the energy saving potential of high building, the objective is to accelerate water and energy conservation by installing decompressure equipments and optimization water supply system. We do not neglect the invalid water caused by overpressure outflow. This phenomenon is widespread existence; high-rise building should install decompressure devices.The key point of this article is one of the decompression equipments; analyze the principle of the decompression and throttling orifice plate from the angle of hydraulics. According to the test and calculate data, we can know the water saving rates and choose different pressure reducing plate to attain the best water saving result for living water supply system.Design a water supply system should focus on the water supply mode. Comparing the energy consumption of different water supply manner, obtain the optimal mode. As we know, that the effect of variable frequency water supply system is not satification, and the infrastructure express of this manner is too high, through discussion on the advantage and disadvantage of current water supply mode, suggest to choosing pump and water tank consociation to supply water.This paper will have its reference value in reform existed building and design new buildings. Also put forward some reference opinions to modify norm.
