After China’s reform and opening up, in response to the rapid digestion under thebackground of globalization, regional differences, and architects in the creation andconstruction of the theory of traditional and modern geographical and cultural issueswere discussed. It is based on the development of Chinese contemporary architecturalconcerns and respond to real-world problems. Even in100years from now, a similar constructionand social problems still exist. Reincarnation controversy surfaced and architecturalcreation of architectural form and content is still widespread with many needs andgeographical and cultural characteristics of contemporary issues to be resolved, there arevarious styles of old buildings gradually fell to the only formalism when maelstrom.When we look back again, being in this particular historical trend among still able to learna lot of useful experience and reflection.This paper is concerned about the reality of contemporary Chinese architecture issuesraised Review and Reflection Xi’an "New Tang" Architecture and Western neo-classicalarchitecture development process. Research goal is not only to express both thedevelopment process, but rather through a comparative study of both the characteristicsof the times, revealing Xi’an "New Tang" modern architecture, which is the intent of theauthor studies. Based on this intention, the main objective of this article does not investin historical research, but mainly through the existing Xian "New Tang" and Westernarchitectural achievements neoclassical building research to collate and re-understanding,through the use of historical comparison method Western neo-classical architecture as aframe of reference to the "modernization" viewpoint, looking for differences in both thedevelopment process and their uniqueness and related objective and subjective reasons.In addition to the form, technology and other appearance factors, but also focuses on theanalysis of modern attitudes to treat digestive process and the role of this process,"people", trying to find workable ideas with Creative.Papers in front of two, three, four, five chapters, mainly in Xi’an "New Tang"objective description of factors and Western architecture neoclassical architecturecharacteristic of the times (mainly from the following aspects are described: social, urbanand development of architectural evolution; evolution of architectural style development;development of building technology; impact architect). Chapter VI is mainly on the "NewTang" Architecture and the era of Western neo-classical building in Xi’an comparativestudies and papers conclusions.
