The proportion of High-level housing has been rise so high that they tend to challenge the domination of multi-storeyed apartments. Now nothing could hold up such tendency. In the large or medium cities, the skyscraper apartment is the leading style in the development of real estate. At the same time a great deal of problems arise that should be emphasized and resolved , which originate from the complicated factors such as the social, economic, humanist, safety and plan elements.The images of constructions are the important part of the image of a city. Though there is no comparison between the High-level housing and the symbolic public architectures in the capability of defining urban image, the High-level housing as a primary form of architecture become an significant constituent of urban image for their large scale absolutely and great proportion relatively. The urban High-level housing must follow those general rules in the architectural aesthetics as well as new requirements changing along with times. The seventh part validated the practisability and practicability of the method and theories which are mentioned in the article by some examples of High-level housing design.Based on the investigation and analysis of the external image of the High-level housing, this article attempts to probe into how the High-level housing organize all sorts of pertinent elements to give prominence to their artistic features in accordance with the whole urban environment, from the perspectives of the individualistic image-innovation of the High-level housing guided by the conception of integrity and harmony of the environment and the principle of form aesthetic.
