Research On Rainwater Utilization In Lvliang City

Water resources are kind of resource which can not be substituted for the survival and development of human rely on. They are the important substance bases of social sustainable development of economy and is the essential factor of maintaining ecological environment. But some problems related to water resources caused by the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization in China. On the one hand, because of the high density of the population and the economic activity, construction extension, water tight areas increase, the disasters which caused by the rainstorm and runoff of city are serious; On the other hand, fresh water resources of city are deficient, the new water supply sources are need urgently to find. The rainwater resources by the simply treated, a kind of water resource with light pollution and less pollutant, could be used as domestic and industrial water. Thus it will be the effective way to increase the rainwater utilized amount.In this paper, based on existing status of research of rainwater problems at home and abroad, the necessity and feasibility of city rainwater utilization and the classification of city rainwater utilization, the utilization method of rainwater; the rationale rainwater utilization are discussed.The Lvliang Lishi Normal School are taken an example for system analysis of rainwater utilization. The main study resuilts are obtained as follows:①Analysis rainfall and potential of Lvliang. The author obtains the relationship of the rainfall distribution, the rainfall amount and rainwater utilization of Lvliang city for 45 years. They are bases of calculation the utilized amount of rainwater.②A plan of rainwater resources comprehensive utilization of Lvliang is presented, also the author gives the existent problems and the development countermeasure of rainwater utilization of Lvliang.③Take Lvliang Lishi Normal School as 1 computing element unit according to the contour of topograph, the division and computation to the area of collecting rainwater according to different type areas are given.④Analyse and compute the rainwater volume collected from each kind of area in this unit, and calculate utilized amount of green area and lawn in Lvliang Lishi Normal School. Finally, through comparing the collected rainwater volume from the campus and the water utilized for virescence, the water consumption for virescence only accounts for 73.5% of the collected rainwater volume.⑤Calculate the rainwater design flow of Lishi Normal School, design the regulation tank and canal in the unit, and give the rainwater utilization plan of Lishi Normal School.
