The development of modern mid-mini Enterprise Information Management System (EIMS) commonly has the characteristics of complex operation flowing, changeful requirements, full of uncertainty factor and high development risks, traditional software process has no good measure to solve it, so a large of enterprise informational projects failed, and it blocks the development of enterprise information industry. As to this problem, the paper researches on constituting new software process which suited to Mid-min EIS development, and eases the crisis of EIS development by using good process practices.Based on deep research on software process, this paper decides to adopt the method of combining agile process to unified process, then builds agile unified process to fit modern EIS development. The paper first analysis the characteristic of common EIS development, then cuts unified process accordingly and agile the cut process, constitute agile unified process framework. To check the practicability of this framework, the paper takes the development of one selling subsystem for example, the result shows this framework well usability.Under the guidance of this process framework, the paper divide use cases of system into 3 layers. According these layers, it iteratively models and develops these use cases with object-oriented method and UML language, and constitutes the frame of system; based on the frame, the steady system is constructed. By deposing complex problem with the means of continually iterating and fining, agile unified process avoids previously high complex analysis and design, besides it can ease risks of development and adapt to changeable requirements; agile method inspires enthusiasm of developers. It proves that this process is better suited to common mid-mini EIS development than traditional process.
