The thesisresearches the customization process of the assembly and functional individualproduct, discusses the design method of customizing product based on concurrentdesign and product family design.According to the important characteristics of individual product customizationprocess, the thesis researches the framework, physical structure and architecture ofwhole product customization system. And on the basis of this research, it establishesthe system function model. Then, the workflow of the system is researched. Based on the overall research on the system, the thesis makes researches onsome key techniques which including product design technique based on productfamily, the management mechanism of product information, the realizationmechanism of customization product information exchange based on XML andconversion based on SOAP and the technique of the three-dimensional visualizationtechnique based on VRML and Java.Based on the key techniques of system which are researched, networked productcustomization system based on ASP platform has been constructed. It validates therationality and feasibility of the ideas and methods which are put forward in thethesis.At last, it summarizes that the research contents and the research work.Furthermore, it figures out about the next research work.
