With the developing of the moderu ships machinery gradually to the heavy load direction, the normal working of equipment has been threated, structural intensity has been noticed now.The gear system which is a part of equipment also should be received more and more attention. Presently, tradition computing method to compute structural stress and confirm intensity has fell behind relatively, and the stress of each point cannot be obtained, using modem finite element analysis method, the stress field analysis and computation can be carried on conveniently ,quickly and precisely. In this article, the analysis was based on the MSC.Nastran platform, the following research on gearbox of cable and motor were done.1. In view of the cable gearbox system, the gearbox body mechanical stress field analysis, the big and small gear's stress field analysis has been carried on, and separately confirmed their intensity. The load analysis rationality and the finite element analysis result's credibility have been confirmed through the stress testing.2. Because the cable gearbox body's computer - based result and the test stress value is smaller and the body also slightly reveals unwieldy, the related optimization analysis has been done on the gearbox muscle board through the finite element method, which has an important practical significance.3. In view of the motor gearbox system, the relations of gearbox body and brackets were analyzed, under three kind of operating modes ,the motor gearbox mechanical stress field analysis have been made separately, and examined it's intensity one by one .then through the brackets and gearbox body test ,the analysis rationality has been confirmed.4. Considered each kind gear meshing, In each kind of meshing condition ,gear stress has been separately analyzed and the gear tooth face intensity and the tooth root bending strength have been examined. 5. The transient stress field analysis was carried on the motor gearbox, and the stress variation curves have been obtained about the worthy attention point. The gearbox stress has been analyzed under the single or double gear-drived.6. Based on the vibration theory, the gear system dynamic question has been. discussed, three kinds of dynamic mathematical model has been researched. The meshing rigidity and the damping solution were analyzed. Through the analysis of gear meshing impact speed and the biggest impetus, the meshing impact was simulated. Finally, the cable gearbox body dynamic response analysis has been carried on though finite element mothod.
