Disassembly Design is the most important parts of Green Design. Disassembly has achieved significant attention in the past few years for its pivotal role in waste recycling, remanufacturing and servicing of components for maintenance in industry. With more emphasis on products to be environmentally safe, today, the need for efficient and cost effective disassembly process has gained momentum.In this dissertation, according to the characteristic of disassembly design, the rule of disassembly design is added and achieved. And disassembly processes and the correlative function are provided. With the aid of Visual C ++ platforms and C + + language, many helpful researches on the CATIA secondary development based on CATIA and CAA were achieved. The acquirement of Disassembly information, disassembly sequences planning, and disassembly path planning and disassembly simulation are deeply researched in the three-dimension environment. The main contents are as following:1,Due to the lack of relative guidance of disassembly ,the rule of disassembly design is added and achieved;2,With the aid of various examples of models, the advantage and disadvantage between the disassembly models are analyzed. With the aid of Visual C ++ platforms and C + + language, many helpful researches on the CATIA secondary development based on CATIA and CAA were achieved. The acquirement of Disassembly information extracted from product's three-dimension model is deeply researched. Based on the graph theory, the numbers of constraints,the type of constraints and the relationship between part and sub-assembly are analyzed;3,The generation method of disassembly sequences is researched. An algorithm for automatic sub-assembly detection based on Connectivity graph and Hybrid graph and its application in disassembly sequence has been presented, which would significantly enhance disassembly processes in the industry;4,According to the information extracted from product's three-dimension model,Based on the algorithm for automatic sub-assembly detection, algorithm for single disassembly sequence planning and multiple disassembly planning has been presented. The disassembly sequence involves the use of interference matrices and connectivity matrices logical operations that could be implemented into a computer program. This makes it easier for future integration with CAD systems.5,In this dissertation, for the common disadvantage of methods existed in disassembly path planning that can not find the path efficiently, the acquirable functions of virtual disassembly path planning in the CATIA are researched. A series of key problems for the virtual disassembly path planning based on CATIA platform are solved. By the disassembly simulation was implemented, the feasibility of virtual disassembly based on CATIA platform has been proved.
