| Spare parts are an important part of an enterprise's production factor and directly affect the enterprise's production,operation and cost. Spare parts management plays an important role on the enterprise's operation and maintenance and meanwhile it is the one of base of the enterprise's guaranteed normal production and operation. As a special power production enterprise, safety and economy are two important evaluation indexes for nuclear power stations, so spare parts management plays an important role on production and operation. Under its 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-10) for economic and social development, the nation's nuclear capacity is to reach 40 gigawatts, accounting for 4 percent of the nation's total capacity, that means every year about two to three 1,000-megawatt reactors are to be built. This article proceeds from the necessity and significance of the management of spare parts of nuclear power stations, presents the current situation of management of spare parts of foreign and domestic nuclear power stations, especially shortcomings found, measures and methods to be taken of Qinshan phase III CANDU 6 nuclear power station. Generalizing other nuclear power stations'successful management experience and research achievements on equipment maintenance engineering, this dissertation puts forward an overall and new management thought of spare parts of nuclear power stations, which starts from the radical goal of spare parts, presents the following:1. Modified Pareto mode which based on criticality and demand classes and parts moving types for classification strategy;2. Methodology based on Reliability-Centered-Maintenance (RCM) and Cost-Effective-Maintenance (CEM) and equipment and its components life probability distribution modes for inventory quota or level;3. Multi-link and comprehensive management thought combining technology management, localization management of equipment and its components, procurement management and maintenance management of spare parts in stock.
