Research On The Functional Design Of Medium And Small-sized Administration Center

Chief building construction enjoys the longest duration and is among the most important building types. As for China, there are mostly small and medium-sized communities together with a huge amount of administrative center construction. However, due to the continuing change of the current social background and the city's rapid update process, a new pattern of behavioral and structural adjustments was introduced to the administrative office, which gives impetus to the development of function and form of the administrative centre. But the existing traditional administrative building cannot reach the requirements of modern administrative functions, space and environment, thus, there is in urgent need of a new, professional as well as administrative center design theory to instruct our practice.The relevant theory and literature review part, through analyzing the examples on development background and current situation as well as the domestic design instances of the contemporary small and medium-sized administrative centre, discusses its new functionality and features of the existing problems. Meanwhile, this part also studies the general design method and proposes scale control measures and the scenario on how to achieve "equality" and "openness", providing references for future design.To adapt to the reform of administrative structure and urban development, this paper aims to discuss how to scientifically and rationally design small and medium-sized administrative center .The main contents are as following:Review the relevant theory and literature, including the definition and development history of the administrative center, and explore functions trend of development for the small and medium-sized administrative center.Bring forward new development characteristics and the existing problems, through analyzing the examples on development background and current situation as well as the domestic design instances of the contemporary small and medium-sized administrative centre.Study the general design method, through further discussion for the administrative center functional composition, function flow lines, and the functional layout of the design.Propose the scenario on how to achieve "equality" and "openness", through the analysis of contemporary domestic small and medium-sized administrative center construction and design examples, and discussion of grading scale control measures for different levels of economic development of small and medium-sized regional administrative center ,providing references for future design of the small and medium-sized administrative center.
