The Study On Function Of Disaster Prevention And Reduction Of Urban Green Space For Mountain City

21st century is the century of urbanization. Joseph E.Stiglize ,the Nobel Prize winners,once said that Chinese urbanization issue and American high-tech will become the main two themes influencing 21st century. Urbanization has become a common choice worldwide. But high speed of development influences natural ecology and social environment, and hence draws down continually disaster, some of which are severely natural disasters,and another more are caused by human activity. Nowadays cities have became a big carrier where disaster happening. Once and again, disasters destroyed earth pitilessly which is important to human being's survival. China is a country with many mountains. The area of mountains and the amount of mountain cities takes a large proportion. Construction and development of mountain cities has it′s own specificity and regularity. Harmfulness of mountain city disasters increased gradually with accelerating of urbanization progress. A large amount of population who concentrated to cities destroyed the city eco-environment. And then that cause the weak ability of cities to withstand disasters. With the appearance of group-occurring and chain-like character of urban disasters, traditional disaster prevention and reduction systems is inadaptable to the requires of sustainable development of city. Disasters prevention and reduction,the ability for urban disaster emergency response have already become the focus that the society has paid close attention to. And yet,urban green space system take a large proportion in the comprehensive disaster prevention,reduction and relief system.This paper takes continuative development,ecological protection,the basic theory of city planning and theory of green space system planning as it′s foundation. And also this paper combines the basic theory of related discipline, such as study of city disasters prevention,safety theory of city,theory-based influence factors of environment. Firstly,the concept and development of urban green space are described. And then mountain city disaster types and factors also are described. Finally,analyzed the urban disaster prevention and reduction principle and function of urban green space.This paper combines the characters of disaster in mountain city Chongqing,and makes the disasters of mountain city as research subject. Urban green space is only one element of disaster prevention and reduction among most disasters. So this paper which based on the investigation of green space system, focus emphatically on the function of urban green space reduction and prevention of urban disaster. Hope to analyse these respects, draw the rational conclusion, offer the new thinking direction for the fact that the urban green space is planned, offer the reference basis for the fact that the disaster prevention and reduction of the city is planned, managed, made policy.
