The CT technology is a high new technology integrated with nuclear physics, nuclear electronics, optics, electron technique, computer science, automation, mechanics and image technique, it is a highly speedy developed field of the fields of the reseach about nuclear science technology application.The basic thought of Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT is to apply the CT technology to the didactical experiments of university physics, demonstrate the whole process of CT scanning more intuitively, and be the pint-sized production that satisfies the requirements of the didactical experiments of university physics, the practical testing and the scientific research. Considering the requirements of miniaturization and security, the Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT uses the low-energy 137Cs to be theγradial source, and the structure of single-detector, thereinto the performance of data acquisition system has a great influence on the performance of Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT, therefor, the design of it is one of the emphases in the developing of this system. Considering the advantages of USB interface about high speed, supporting hot plug, easy expand, plug and play and so on, the application of USB interface technology to Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT CD-50BGA+ highly improves the currency and convenience of this instrument, and the whole system can work under the environment of Win2000 and WinXP.The main works of this task are: analyse and test the electrocircuit, ensure the electrocircuit satisfies the design and actual working requirements; compile the control and data acquisition software by using DLL, achieve the control of mechanism movement and incept of data from detector by the mutual communication with FPGA; compile the application for debugging to satisfy the requirments of control and data acquisition software and testing by transfering the DLL; test the parts of mechanism and electric motor by using the debug software, check if the mechanism and electric motor are working well by observing the condition of CT scan; make certain the capability targets of Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT by images rebuilt from various workpiece, ensure the whole machine working well.This paper firstly talks about the working principium and total structure of ICT and Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT; secondly analyzes the electrocircuit and validates the functions by emulating and practical testing; next, principally analyzes and introduces the module of data acquisition, illuminates the working principium and design process of the two acquisiton types—interrupt type and query type, in detail, then analyzes the practical testing result by Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT in use of CT scan and didactical experiments, and gets the main capability targets, finaly generalizes the conclusion and prospect about the research of Didactical Experiments Instrument of CT based on the process of the development and results of testing.
