The writer developed the DSP-Based Data Acquisition and Analysis System of Electric Vehicles.Electric drive and control system consisted of the drive motor,battery pack and speed control device etc.The data acquisition and analysis system collected the data which is the parameter of motor and battery.It could gather the real-time various data while electric vehicles is running.At the same time,the operator sees the data dispalyed in the form of tables and curves on the screen.So electric vehicle's condition is monitored and judged correctly.It can also be used to assess the performance of vehicle control systems,control algorithms for optimization,fault detection and analysis and so on.The system consisted of the host computer,lower computer and software.The writer firstly designed the hardware module.Lower computer adopted Tl's DSP chips TMS320LF2407 A to be the core processor.Temperature,speed,voltage and current signals are input through the sensor circuit,A / D conversion module and First-order inertia digital filter then DSP get high-precision measurements.The host computer adopted the nomal PC.The lower computer software would send the data and alarm message to the PC according to the specified communication protocol.2407A-Chip SCI interface module supports the standard form of asynchronous digital communication between CPU and other peripherals.The lower computer software was written by assembly language which is featured in fast speed.PC software is written using Visual C + +6.0,full use of the Windows API functions and control functions,featured in simple and elegant interface,simple operation.It can automatically filter wrong data,so all datas can display precisely.Display module is divided into three parts.The first one is the direct data display by the edit box.Through the fault code,the software can diagnose the bug and display it.The second one is diagrammatic.Different data curves in different colors to facilitate the observation of the vehicle controller startup and braking performance,and steady speed,the smooth degree of data.The last one is exploring Virtual Instrument.The writer made a virtual dash board for displaying the speed.PC sofeware also can store data,not only the specified data,but also all of them.Then,developer can use them to analyse the performance of Electric Vehicle.
