The strength, stiffness of the technology System and the process quality of workpiece are effected by the cutting force. Designed machine tools, cutting tools, fixtures and computing power consumption are also based on the cutting force. Currently, the quality of the finished surface, machining precision,and the tool wear grade are detected and monitored by cutting force in automated production and precision machining.Based on the hardware platform designed with the TMS320F2812 of the TI corporation and USB 2.0 interface by the same topic group of students ,choosing the VC + + 6.0 for the development of language, to design the cutting force data acquisition and analysis software platform. software platform is modular in design approach, focusing on the completion of the data communications module, data modules, data collection and data analysis module module design.Data communications module is based on USB chip CY7C68001 of the data acquisition card, and make use of Driverstudio of the Compuware Numega coporation, win2000 DDK and VC + +6.0 to design the drives and to enact the protocol of communication, to complete the communication from top to bottom machine. Data Acquisition Module mainly use the advantages of the TMS320F2812 on-chip AD to design the main program. the filtering process judgement, median filter, mean filter, the arithmetic mean filtering, weighted mean filter, anti-Pulse interference mean filter, the moving average filter, mulriple digital filter are compared in the data analysis module. The final choice is the pulse-interference mean filter according to the feature of cutting force. Data analysis module also using VC + + call Matlab to complete a time-domain analysis and shows the waveform of the signal.The software with hardware system was debugged and it's can achieve the functions of the main module, completing the anticipated objectives. a good foundation is laid for the next step.
