Research On Track And Rollback Of Design Process In Aircraft Collaborative Design

CSCD (Computer Supported Cooperative Design) is the application of CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) in the domain of design; as a new mode of product development and design, it is widely valued by research institutions and manufacturers domestically and abroad. Cooperative design is a process that emphasizes more individuals, cooperation, intercommunity and flexibility, in which people with different knowledge finish the design work together based on the common design aim and many design restrictions to satisfy the design requirements. In the design process of aircraft, an efficient management of information on data, process, and resource referred to product in cooperative design is required urgently.Track and rollback of design process is an important indispensable part in aircraft cooperative design. It can provide some management and application based on design process for cooperative design of products, track record the primary modification in design process of products and the information of dynamic design process of a CAD system employed in coordinated design, and provide design rollback when necessary. The research overcomes the deficiency of current commercial PDM system in managing dynamic product design process and data in cooperative design, and improves the efficiency of aircraft design.By the management about design process, this thesis synthetically analysed main activities and correlative elements during the design process. A model of cooperative design process was build then. On this foundation, an assistant system for the aircraft cooperative design that adopted C/S model was developed. In this system, many ways of process track were researched according to different design informations and futherly three kinds of strategies for rollback of design process were put forward. At last, the functions of the system were applied in the collaborative design of aircraft.
