Collaborative Research And Implementation Of Process Design And Management Techniques

Process planning demands multi-user to work in coordination. However, most CAPP systems presently applied in company is with little view to cooperation and lack of organizing, harmonizing and controlling the activity of process planning, so the collaborative work is completed not in computer but by hands, that brings forward many deficiencies. To make collaborative work be sustained in CAPP system by computer, the paper researched the collaborative process planning and key realization techniques.First, to build up a collaborative work environment, analyzed the characteristic and collaborative work in process planning.Second, studied the requirement of cooperative process planning and management and actuality of information system, a distributed multi-tier collaborative process planning system framework based on middle-ware technologies was presented.Third, discussed in the framework the procedure controlling, dynamic personnel organization , manufacturing resource management , conflicts resolution and presented separately the realization method.Fourth, with PDM established a cooperative work platform for process planning, proposed the realization of management of the course of process planning, personnel, process data.Collaborative work technology is used in the project to improve the efficiency of process planning and management, it is indicated by practice that it carries the collaborative work into effect and fulfills the requirements of fast product development.
