As the basic industry of civil economy, the reliability of power influences the economy benefit and the security of the industry production, and the operator's level of administration and accident disposing influence the reliability and security of system operation directly or indirectly. However, it is unreasonable to get practice in the real running system, especially for the accident disposing. Thereby a pertinence fault simulation and training system has a very important signification and practicality value to improve the operator's level of accident disposing. This thesis designs a fault simulation and training system for the operators. And it purposes to reflect the real network device configure and the structure relationship, simulate the system operation situation, provide a favorable interface for trainees and evaluation coaches, make trainees have chance to contact the fault drilling and accident management, help trainees to accumulate experience and improve the technique level.Above all, it designs an overall frame of the fault simulation and training system for power system, describes the structure relationship of system, marks off the function modules. The system is based on the database, and all of the functions are turned on by the graphical interfaces. The design of the frame makes the foundation for the system developing.Secondly, it uses the object-oriented programming technology to develop the network drawing interface of power system, with which achieves the protract of the primary device graphical element, and edit it simply. Then paint the network of a 2×12WM power station with this drawing interface.For the database development, CIM is used to become the standard of all primary devices, and the device data is memorized according to the standard EMS data structure. It is beneficial to share data from EMS directly, and then makes advantages for the farther development of the system.Based on describing the network topology model with CIM, according to the reasons that the flow of power system has the right direction, the state of the switch band device changing only influence the buses forming on the same voltage level, all the electrical devices have the item of voltage level defined based on the CIM data structure, and etc, the node merging method is used to analyze the topology overall, and then researches at the same voltage level to analyze the local topology fast. Then feed back the result of topology analysis to the graphic drawing interface, uses different colors to distinguish the devices powered off or on. This thesis designs the fault simulation and training system totally, and develops elementary functions partly. The system is expected to consummate and explore farther, to achieve its useful value and effect for training.
