The dynamic compactor is usually fully-loaded, working frequently and suddenlyunloading, which bring obvious vibration and the impact on the structure, therefore, meetingthe requirements of static conditions, it is crucial to study the dynamic response of the system. To get the dynamic response of the system, there are two methods, experimental modelanalysis and computational model analysis, the latter one has obvious advantages in savingtime and costs, especially in the beginning of product design, and it is a necessary means tostart corresponding simulation analysis first to get the dynamic response of the system. The dynamic compaction that this paper studies is a large complex nonlinear system. Indynamic analysis, the effect of the flexible transmutation to the dynamic response of thesystem can not be ignored. So it is difficult to get ideal dynamic parameters of the system byusing the conventional simplified analytical method or the traditional rigid body dynamicssimulation software.RecurDyn is a new generation of multi-body system dynamics simulation software, which is developed by FunctionBay based on its epoch-making Formulation—RecursiveFormulation. By relative coordinate system equations and Complete Recursive Formulation, itis very suitable for solving the problem of large-scale and complex contact multi-body systemdynamics.Comparing with similar softwares, RecurDyn has obvious advantages in manyfields, therefore, by integrating the RecurDyn and the general FEM software, we build thedynamic model of the whole machine. By simulation analysis, we got the dynamic parametersthat we cared about, which can provide reference data for its subsequent FEM calculation andfatigue evaluation.
