This measurement system is mainly suitable for the measurement of thetypical fragment windward area. After synthetically calculating the fragmentwindward area and the measurement data of the speed, we can obtain theinitial velocity of the shot and the decay coefficient of the fragment. Theresult obtained by this method is more accurate and scientific than thepresent area cutting theory, and meantime it can avoid the abnormalphenomena of the acceleration speed fragment and constant speed fragment.The measurement is simulated by "positive dodecahedron" method,utilizing the direct current moment electric motor and the photoelectricalaxis angle encoder, the rotation of the shot carrier and the CCD camera iscompleted, and can orientation the rotating angle, so that the system canmake the CCD camera to measure the square diagraph in 16 independentprojections. Each scope of the measuring size is very large, to satisfy thediagraph accuracy, needing the optical system has large magnification,change the focal length automatically and adjust the function of the focallength automatically, guaranteeing clear image on the CCD camera, aftercollecting the data through the image, the average value of the fragmentwindward area will be obtained.
