With rapid development of automotive electronics technology and pepole's high attentionto automobile safety, Antilock Braking System (ab.ABS) has increasing been applied asone of basic automotive configuration.It is obvious that ABS products share much inautomotive electronics products market, however, in home market foreign ABS productsoccupy most share.Therefore, it is necessary to develop ABS products with ourintellectual property so as to enhance country competition capability in automobileindustry field.This paper is the very one about the research of Electronic Control Unit (ab. ECU) ofABS. The paper, firstly, discusses the principle and function ofABS, ABS structure andthe installation type. The paper also analyses several technical key points of ABS at thelast of this chapter.In next chapter, the paper analyses and compares a serial of availablecontrol arithmetic. Due to actual project request, the paper adopts the logical-thresholdcontrol arithmetic. In the following chapter, specific design is given, including hardwarepart and software part. In hardware circuit there are wheel_speed signal processingcircuit, power supporting circuit, logic operation circuit, solenoid valves driving circuitand fault diagnoses circuit. In software part, embedded operation systemμC/OS-Ⅱisported to controller. Logical-threshold control arithmetic, wheel_speed collect arithmeticand identification of road type arithmetic are also discussed in this paper. To test the ECUfunction, the paper builds Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation (ab. HILS) test platform.Based on this platform, the paper makes much simulation on all kinds of road types,including high adhesion coefficient type, low adhesion coefficient type, jumpingadhesion coefficient type, half_high and half_low adhesion coefficient type.By analysingthe simulation results, it shows that the designed ECU has comparatively good function.
