This paper designs a set of inverting power supply for medium and small independent electricity -generating system, which including permanent magnetism dynamo pulled by a gasoline engine. It converts the medium frequency electricity generated by the dynamo into the electricity which can be used by the normal loads directly. This inverter system is fully controlled by the TMS320LF2407A DSP(digital signal processor)of TI corporation, which makes the system be more stable and the hardware circuits simpler. The paper introduces the design process of the hardware and software, and the experimental results are tested according to the design methods.The inverter system of the portable generator contains three main parts: the rectifier, the gun controller of the gasoline engine and the inverter. The thyristor half-control rectifier is adopted in this system so that the DC voltage can be controlled and the cost be reduced as well. The DC voltage close loop control is accomplished by means of the fully digital trigger signals generated by DSP to the three thyristors with common cathodes. The working conditions of the dynamo should match the change of the load, which can only be achieved by means of controlling the gun of the gasoline engine. The forward of the power variation and the subsection proportional feedback of the rotate speed control are adopted in this system to reduce the rotate speed fluctuation of the dynamo to some extent when the load is switched suddenly.The double loop of the current of inductance and the output voltage control scheme is adopted in the system of inverter control. The parameters of the compensating tache are identified by the Matlab/Simulink simulation based on the analysis of the maths model of the inverter. This paper discusses the negative impact on the system stable caused by the sampling and calculation delay of the digital control. The state observer predictive control is introduced to accomplish one-step exceed compensation, which can enhance the stability of the inverter system.At last, a 6kVA inverting power supply sample is manufactured according to the design scheme discussed in this paper. The experimental waveforms are quite good, which satisfies the design indexes completely. The design methods are validated by means of analyzing the experimental results.
