Concrete-filled steel tubular is regarded as the new type combined material, it has very mechanics performance when pressed and can be easily constructed. So it be used more and more in the scopes of bridge construction. Relative to traditional reinforced concrete bridge, it has higher capability index such as fire-resistant, dynamical capability and stability. As the same time, relative to steel bridge it can save more resource, obviously it is more economic.Changing bridge lies at the higher reaches of the Hun-river and was plough into use in 1997. It is one of the main hinges to connect the centre city zone of Shenyang to south-east city zone of Shenyang. It is a typical concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge. We were requested to do the job by the department of Shenyang road and bridge governer to have a health inspection of the bridge. As applying a new type materia, the theoretical researches of concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge gets oppositely behind the engineering practice, the study on design theories are incomplete; these bring a series of warp.For the health inspection of the bridge, static test, dynamic test and intensity test are combined to make the result more nicety and approach to the reality. It gives the data results of upside of the structure and underside of the structure, and qualitative analysis is given.Base on locale mapping and original blue print, the FEM models are built. The analysis of the dynamic property is concluded, the performance of the bridge could be known. Its base vibration of landscape orientation, vertical and torsion show the orderliness, that the number increases more and more high. It tells us the vertical performance of the whole structure is obviously harder than the horizontal performance of the whole structure. It accord to the characteristic of the bridge.Thinking over different loading styles and working conditions, static analyse are carrid out. Using the results of analyse to compare the intensity and the transmutation, it shows us the internal force distributing reasonable, the transmutation meeting the request of the criterion.The reliability analysis shows that the condition of the bridge meets the request of the criterion on the target of reliability. It is looked as a complementarity of the health inspection. The bridge looks strong enough to continue its work, because of its security.
