At present, there are some block-spots on many roads, this thesis seeks to identify accurate black spots of accidents in order to make targeted measures and improve road safety effectively. The reasons of most black spots are designed legally but unreasonable. To inspect and amend road design through operation speed, which a reasonable and safe method.The study of this paper is on the basis of the deep research of the document Guan-Shen Expressway (or construction drawing design) to be completed. Through field survey and interviewing related departments, author collect the material of traffic accidents on all the sections of the entire line on the north and south direction, and choose some typical sections to gauge the actual operating speed of vehicles and the related route data, using the method, which combines the practice and the theory, to judge the security appraisal of Guan-Shen Expressway, including the identification of black spots of accident on all the sections and operating speed design examination.The research results of this paper are as follows: First, reviewing the transport safety situation at home and abroad, and analyzing the purpose and significance of the identification of accident-prone sections and safety test of roads, and make a comparative analysis of identifying methods of all kinds of accident-prone sections; Second, introducing the cumulative frequency method, and its principles and methods of identifying black spots; Third, making use of the cumulative frequency method in engineering practice-Guan-Shen Expressway, draw the curve of the cumulative frequency, and identified the standard of accident black spots for Guan-Shen Expressway more than or equal to 3 / 0.5 km, the results showed a total of 16 accident black spots sections, of which nine is in the north and seven is in the south; Fourth, applying the operating speed theory as well with its computing model to check the design speed consistency and the running speed coordination of black spots section on Guan-Shen Expressway, and to draw the curve of the operating speed of all vehicles , which concluded in the result that: the design speed consistency and the running speed coordination of black spots section are poor; Finally, by analyzing the status of the black spots sections on Guan-Shen Expressway, and combining speed test results, the paper raise some measures to improve black spots road and some suggestions to design road safety.The achievements of this research paper provide a theoretical reference for road expansion and improvement in the black spots sections, particularly the analysis of the test of the operating speed provide a reference for a safe design to the new roads alterations or the old roads rebuilding.
