Recently, with a great price rising on valuable metal material such as electrolytic in international and domestic market, which has being a long time keeping, material costs of water-lubricated bearing were increasingly higher as well as the application and extension greatly restricted .It is necessary to find other materials to replace copper as crustaceous material of water-lubricated bearing. There are also many key technologies required to resolve. This thesis comes from the national natural science fund research project(50475065),which has established key scientific foundation for the following contents, first research and development on nonmetal crustaceous water-lubricated engineering composite bearing. Second, improvement on the following critical problems of damping, noise descending ,safety ,reliability, material and energy saving, high efficiency and environmental protection which are necessary to settle up for large and medium-sized naval vessel propulsion systems. Third, solving the increasingly serious pollution situation which is polluted by lubricating oil leaking from transmission machine especially large and medium-sized naval vessel propulsion systems. Last, cultivating scientific industry of resource-saving and environment -friendly and new economical growth point. The major research is listed as follows:â‘ glass fibers winding angle optimization of water-lubricated bearinganalysis on stress condition of water-lubricated bearing shell, base on stress condition analysis on the shell obtain the optimum winding angle; analysis on the cylindrical shell stress condition get the angle of each layer.â‘¡Study on Forming process of water-lubricated cylindrical shellAnalysis on main body material and reinforcing material and toughening material of nonmetal shell material used on water-lubricated bearing. propose the forming process of nonmaterial water-lubricated bearing.1) choice of main body material of water-lubricated .analysis on several organic material,dimension stability ,absorbent, economic and adhesion strength with liner was considered. according with factors ,choice the EP as main body material.2) choice of the toughening material. With high crosslinking density and brittleness after curing of EP, it must toughening the main body material.3) Choice and treatment the reinforcing material . choice the GF as the reinforcing material, the GF is inorganic materials and EP is organic materials. Shell properties was determined by interfacial strength. GF and EP interfacial strength meet with load capacity after Treat the GF4) adhesion problem between the nonmetal cylindrical shell and composite rubber liner.
