Belt conveyor is the continuous equipment for successively transporting bulk material; it is applied widely the fields of mine, port, dock,power plant, metallurgy,chemical industry,architectural material and grain deport, etc.With the development of technology,Lately the belt conveyor with long distance,big bandwidth,heavy load, and high velocity carrying out bulk material become the mainstream. Former design,select and use of belt conveyor is limitation.Especially the dynamic load causing in the process of starting and braking will directly affect the choice of the belt and the position of the tension apparatus and driving unit ,the power, etc. They are the central problems in the design of belt conveyor. So the belt conveyor of the research on dynamics is an important path to ensure to decrease the dynamics load of the belt and other parts in the process of the starting and braking, and it provides the need of optimizing unitary project. The research on belt conveyor has finished several aspects:Adopting finite element method, dynamics mode of the belt conveyor is founded. The mode considers the effect of the viscoelasticity character, friction coefficient and other parameter related with the operating of combining. The method is the mode of the conveyor belting unit, tension apparatus unit, driving apparatus unit and braking device unit is founded separately, then the displacement, speed, acceleration and dynamic tense of belt will be obtained in the process of starting and braking.pass analysis amend primal design,the project is optimum.The software of dynamic analysis of the belt conveyor is exploited. This software uses VC to create the front system and uses MATLAB to emulate the end, and uses MICROSOFT SQL SERVER data base tool to found the data table. It is high intelligent and easy to operate; the dynamic parameters of the belt conveyor are obtained in random position; the dynamic parameters is displayed in two.dimension picture and three.dimension picture. At last, all the analysis of results(including figure) and parameter will be saved at word journal sheet and exported.
