The heat source system is one of the most important ones of ship. A mount of heat energy is needed for the life of sailors and passengers, oil heating and other purpose. Usually, we use steam which produced by boiler to satisfy the needs of heat energy. There are many types of heat providing equipments such as oil-burning auxiliary boiler, exhaust boiler and composite boiler. And different equipments make up of different heat source systems. Recently, the selection of different heat source systems is based on the experience or the requirement of ship-owner. Until now, there is not enough work to be done to evaluate different system on scientific point of view. In this thesis, we bring in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to carry on the research.The research object is 3100TEU container ship. After finishing the calculation of steam consumption of the whole ship and volume of exhaust boiler, researchers collect lots of information about heat providing equipments. Finally, three different heat source systems are chosen for the following research.Before the comprehensive evaluation, firstly, analytic hierarchy structure model is established to evaluate the marine heat source system and the categorization of quantified index and qualitative index is finished. Secondly, use AHP to calculate absolute weight of the index in the model. During the process, a new method - Group AHP Method Based on the Least Square Method– is used to solve the assembled problem and achieve the fusion of experts` opinions. On the decision of index membership, use experts evaluation combined with fuzzy matrix conversion for quantified index and for qualitative index, on the base of analyzing the character detailedly and combining with correlative rules, establish reasonable membership function. After finishing the calculation of weight and membership, proper fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is chosen. Using Matlab software, the evaluation result is gained. And finally achieve project selection.The thesis does another research on the application of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on marine project selection, in order to provide a scientific method for the selection of heat source system.
