| Southeast china is a mountain region with heavy typhoon influence. Mountain road of the region experience geological hazard and water damage frequently. The essay sums up the theories and methods related to the water damage of mountain road in the documents available. The essay made analysis on mountain road water damage based on investigation data and the combination with the condition of geological, geomorphic, meteorological, engineering construction characteristics about Zhejiang province. Two indoor model tests——surface erosion and seepage failure——about mountain road also were conducted. The surface erosion model tests about mountain road showed that how the water erosion happen, how develop, how the slope destroy. The test also compared anti-erosion properties when condition changed such as mass' property, earth-rock proportion, seepage water pressure. The conclusions of the model test as follows: The soil with high clay content has the better erosion resistibility than the soil wish high silt content. Collapse is the major failure mode of slope surface. The accumulation soil from collapse slope is the major resource of erosion. The seepage failure model tests about mountain road showed that the variation of seepage line and slope deformation, and their relationship. The essay also discussed that the effect on slope deformation which changed by mass' property, exterior water level, slope angle, collapse compacting and so on. The conclusions of the model test as follows: Change of exterior water level is an important reason of slope failure. When the exterior water level rising, the soil of slope being soft, the shear capacity of soil also reducing and the slope deforming. When the exterior water level lowering, between the internal and exterior of slope, hydraulic head pressure difference increasing, the glide force directed to exterior water increasing, fine grain of slope may lass caused by the seepage. The soil with good permeability and stable shear capacity after soaking can effectively reduce the deformation of slope that is a suitable material for soaked road. |
