The concrete-filled steel-tube arch bridge has long span ability and can be easy constructed. It becomes longer span with the time passing by. With the span increasing, many problems come to appear. Among of them, security becomes an important problem. As bridge appear to damage, if no measurements were adopted repairing the damage in time, the person's life will be threaten and lead to great losses of national economy. Fortunately, bridge monitoring technologies are developing quickly, and these technologies provide guarantee for bridge maintaining. The following four aspects were studied in this paper.1. Firstly, the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge under loading was analyzed. Secondly, analytical theories of this type bridge were presented. An example was put forward to check those theories. The computing results were used in monitoring work subsequently.2. Several measure equipments and methods of deformation monitoring system of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge were presented. At the same time, the deformation system and some notifications were introduced during bridge monitoring procedure.3. The DMBS of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge deformation monitoring system based on professional data-base software were established. The advanced programming language Visual Basic6.0 was adopted to compile data-base management application software.4. The assessment method of evaluation the bridge health condition is presented in pramary. The deformation monitoring methods of this type bridge is explored valuably. Based on the loading behavior of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge, the state-of-the-art monitoring technology is summarized. At the same time, according to the Steel Tube Concrete Arch Bridge, management Decision System of Long-term Monitoring Data is programmed. It is expected that the theory foundation and decision method of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge can be provided for bridge mataining and reparing.
