Nearly two decades, concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge in China has been a wide range of applications and rapid development. With the bridge operation, and many bridges have taken place in varying degrees of damage, and some even collapsed bridge. Therefore, the urgent need to develop effective and rational scientific method, the bridge structure can be closely monitored during the operational state of health in order to protect the safe operation of this type of structure to prevent fracture collapse and other disasters from happening.This article first introduces the bridge health monitoring at home and abroad and the development of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge and explained the significance of the bridge health monitoring of concrete and steel arch bridge structural system and force characteristics of rib construction forms and characteristics of concrete filled steel tubular arch disease. Discusses the monitoring of the content of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge. Secondly, the use of large-scale finite element analysis software for concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge from structural strain (stress) monitoring, deformation monitoring, boom internal forces to monitor and ambient temperature monitoring of four areas of the structure of static analysis. Analysis to identify the force of the concrete filled steel tubular structure and location of the most unfavorable elements, as well as influencing factors, as a basis for condition monitoring. Again, analysis of the vibration characteristics of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge, the vault of concrete off air-to-structure and vehicle vibration characteristics of bridge vibration caused by the structure. For concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge provide the basis for vibration monitoring.Finally, based on results of the analysis, combined with the existing monitoring experience and put forward concrete filled steel tube arch bridge with a specific arrangement of measurement points condition monitoring program. Through the analysis of existing monitoring instruments and monitoring methods, choice of a concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge to adapt to condition monitoring equipment and monitoring methods.
