A Research On The Development Of Small Towns Surrounding The Historical And Cultural Heritage Protected Area

These years, Chinese famous historical and cultural towns attached more attention, and a lot of remarkable protection and development research works were made for these towns. But the environment, especially the small towns, surrounding of these historical and cultural towns were not taken enough attention.The small towns were affected by the radiation and proliferation of protected areas and the culture of the surrounding rural hinterland. Therefore, they show the totally different development characteristics from other towns, in their development process. So how to deal with the problems in the development process and seek the way of sustainable development for these small towns surrounding historical and cultural heritage of protected areas become an important issue at this stage.Based on the correlative literature at home and abroad, the main instructional theories of this paper are urban planning, urban geography, development economics, regional economics, etc. The main methods of this paper are using macro and micro, time and space, comprehensive theory of empirical research and case studies. In the research process, the method of combining, observation, field research, document retrieval, and other methods are taken. It also adopts the text-editing software, computer graphics software and other technical means for data analysis, and a graphics processing. Focusing on the control of space planning, landscape planning space, historical plan for environmental protection, tourism, resource development planning, and other aspects of the town of Tangshan City Malanyu, this paper gives a an in-depth analysis of the historical and cultural protection zones around the development of small towns mechanism, and seeks the way of sustainable development.This paper is composed of six chapters. The main contents of each chapter are summarized as follows:Chapter I introduces the background, the necessity and the significance of the paper. And the general ideas and framework of the paper are also mentioned.Chapter II, from the concept of the historical and cultural heritage protection zone and the surrounding small towns, give a qualitative analysis to determine the scope of the study and introduce the domestic and international historical and cultural heritage of protected areas around small Urban development and research related to the status quo theory.Chapter III introduces the historical and cultural heritage of protected areas surrounding the development of small towns and points out that the status quo in the development of the several existing problems.Chapters IV and V are the case studies. Chapter IV introduces profile and the growing process of Malanyu and gives a detailed analysis of the main driving factors promoting the development. Chapter V proposes the specific control strategies of Malanyu town to further promote the healthy development.Chapter VI gets the conclusions and gives some problems left.
