protection concepts,historical and cultural towns in economically underdeveloped areas still widely exist "focusing on social and economic development,ignoring cultural heritage protection" and "insufficient motivation to implement social actions".And other issues.Therefore,this study takes "how to realize the overall coordination of the protection and development of historical and cultural towns in economically underdeveloped areas through the selection of protection modes and paths" as the core issue of this study.The research constructs a theoretical guiding framework for protection mode and path selection,and conducts empirical research with Qingping Town,Gaotang County,to provide reference for local social and economic development and protection of value characteristics.The
