To simplify the process of Engine Power measuring and improve the reliability and safety of engine power plant ,according to the problems and shortcomings of the technology in the Engine no_load Power measuring system,This paper analysed the method of the No_load Power measuring and the main factors of the impact of instantaneous speed measurement accuracy, and the Instant Rotational Speed was measured in the test system. Instantaneous Acceleration was caculated by using the feature of the MCU with the Least Squre Meathod, and the system of power measuring was developed. The main contents of the paper were as follows:1,The elements of measuring instantaneous speed were studied, several methods of measuring instantaneous speed were introduced, the primary factors to affect the measurement precision of the Instantaneous speed, such as the gear precision, sample frequency etc, were analyzed, and in order to enhance the measurement precision, the Instantaneous speed signals were processed and analyzed by several methods.2,The research of Angular Acceleration was conducted .Several methods of measuring Angular Acceleration were introduced, and the data of the Angular Acceleration was processed by the Least Squre Meathod.3,A simplified model of engine Instantaneous Power was developed based on the investigation of dynamic property of engine, and the measuring system was developed too.4,The mode of the host and slave computer was adopted in the test system. The slave computer adopted MCU ,with LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and corresponding operation button, which made it not only have the clear interface and can be used simply; and also carry on data transmission between the PC and MCU by the communication way. And USB interface was added in order to realize large memory using the U disk. The program of the host computer was developmented by VC++, and which can be realized to manage the measured data, draw the test curve etc.A lot of experimental researches in real-world engines are accomplished, and the experimental results verify the above the oretical developments.
