The Research On Energy Saving Design Policy Of Rural Dwelling Houses In Handan

Rural housings were analyzed in Handan, Hebei province, which locates in cold region, hoping to solve the comfortless problem of some rural housings. The rural housing in Handan was optimized totally and systematically from aspects of planing design, shape coefficient, design philosophy, energy saving design, sunshade and utilization of bioenergy. Exterior building envelopes state of rural housing is improved in Handan by adopting new wall material and making full use of local industrial garbages, such as coal gangue and boiler slag. Glass window has great relation with indoor thermal comfort. Windows condition has great effects on indoor thermal environment. Heat preservation and insulation can reach expect effect by by using hollow glass, heat reflecting curtain.Traditional Chinese kang and ground fire have a history of more than 2,000 years already, which is the Chinese wisdom crystallization. Chinese kang integrate heat supply, berch, living, ventilation, health care, and ground fire has advantages of small occupation of land, rapid warming and low price, the energy of Chinese kang and ground fire is fit for rural housings.As a green and environmental benefit energy, solar energy is adopted in rural houdings of Handan, and can not be substituted by any other energy. But great wealth gap restricts the utilization of solar energy. Several simple, easeful and cheap solar heaters, passive solar houses and solar energy crops drying equipments were introduced in this paper to make better use of solar energy, alleviate energy shortage and improve farmers' standard of living.Adopting feasible technical measures, using infrared thermography and temperature and humidity instrument, rural housings were examined to accumulate a huge amount of data, which shows that most of rural housings are comfortless. By adopting feasible technical measures and taking comprehensive building energy-saving measures, the better satisfacted comfort and better effect can be obtained in rural housings of Handan.
