Road Accident Blackspots Identification On Base Of Simulation

The traffic accident seriously threatens people's life security and property security, so it becomes a social harm now. At present the traffic accident is serious in China. The average number of people dead and harmed counts 100, 000 every year and economy lose amount to several billions RMB. Similar accidents repeatedly take place on some locations. If we can identify the accident black spots and make sectional repairs, the accident ratio can be reduced largely and under control. Therefore, studying reasonable and valid methods of identification of accident black spots is one of the most important contents in the road safety research.Presently, there are many identification methods and theories, but most of them depend on the analysis of historical accident data. Although the evaluation based on historical data has its advantage, the required data has a longer historical time, and the traffic condition changes with the change of road using time, so the result statistic analysis is affected and limited. The postmortem identification according to the operational result needs lots of money to improve the road condition, meanwhile the traffic accident has taken place, and resulted in large number of casualties and economic loss.In this paper, the author applies the technique of automobile dynamics to identification of the accident black spots, and puts forward the method of simulation to identify the accident black spots in advance. It can be used in the designing phase, and can forecast hidden troubles in the potential dangerous section of the road according to the variety rule of the road glide fastness with the change of time. The author analyses the effects of the factors, such as the road condition, in the traffic safety. Then he brings forward the data structure of the road information and the method of collecting the road condition data, and sets up reasonable accidents stimulation models and accident black spots identification models, and compiles the stimulation software. Finally a practical calculation indicates that the simulation result fits with the practice on the whole, so the identification method of simulation is available.Using accident simulation technology to identify the accident black spots not only takes the safety and prediction into account, but also avoids the casualties and loss. It increases the accuracy to improve the road and increases investment benefits, so helps to realize enhancing the road traffic safety level.
