Study And Investigation On Application Of The Indigenous Tree Species In Green Land Of Nanjing Urban Park

The indigenous plant are an important part of urban landscaping's materials,especially the indigenous tree species who have an important significance in designing ecological landscape graden and human landscape graden cause of its advantage in Ecological Adaptability,price performance ratio, management, background of culture and embodiment of local plants' characteristics.However,people has advocated the indigenous plants shall be widely used in urban landscaping for a long time , many problems still have been met during the real application. This article chooses the subject which is how to use the indigenous plants in urban park land greening design to study.With the purpose of using the indigenous plants in landscaping design conveniently, this article gives a new concept and an expanded definition of the indigenous tree species .The indigenous tree species,local tree species who survived after a long term nature selection and species succession,have high ecological adaptability to the environment . They include two parts, one is the existed original tree species of local area ,another is the living exotics tree species survived from a long term introduction,domestication,growth and reproduction with a high adaptability to the local climate,good growing development, large reproductive capacity and deep background culture. All the studies of this article are based on this definition.Herewith the article chooses the Xuan-Wu-Hu park, the Qing-Lu park, the Xiu-Qiu park,the Gu-Lin Park,the Mo-Chou-Hu park,the Zhan-Yuan Graden,the Bei-ji-Ge park, the Bai-Lu-Zhou park,the Yu-Hua-Tai park,the Shi-Zi-Shan park,the Xiao-Tao-Yuan Park,the Shen-Ce-Men park,the Bai-Ma park to be the main objects for studying. Through the investigation on its culture,the indigenous plants are seperated into three levers which are widely used,less used and never used tree species by the principle of its application frequency and its application Range. Total 182 indigenous tree specis belong to 63 families and 130 genuses. Based on this statistic and basis of Delphi method,the paper give a synthetical evaluation and a classification to each tree species,10 tree species are classified into grade I, 39 tree species are grade II,35 tree species are grade III,64 tree species are grade IV ,34 tree species are grade V. The article gives some suggestions to each grade tree species on its Application and primary instructions for indigenous tree species planning in urban landscaping of Nanjing city to refer.Otherwise,it expatiates the habitat construction,commniuty development and principle of configuration of the Nanjing's indigenous plants by the theory of phytocoenology,garden aesthetics and ecology and finds out some characteristics and deficiencies during the application .Finally ,it gives some solution for the problems which are occurred in urban park land greening frequently.
