With the globalization of economics, informatization is essential to the enterprises that want to exist, develop and compete with others. Both rapid speed and high quality of information are indispensable for enterprises to improve their management level. Because of enterprises' competitive demands and government's impetus, ERP systems have been widely applied by domestic enterprises in recent years. Many enterprises obtain success, but no few ones haven't realized their prospective effects, even are defeated. One of reasons is that BPR isn't executed at the same time while ERP project is implemented. Business processes are the operating center of the enterprises. The execution research of BPR will help to get the way to successful implement of ERP projects, and it plays an important role to improve business management and enhance economic benefit. This paper analyzes the combination of both BPR and ERP, and the key role of BPR in implementing ERP project. But it is necessary for BPR to be successful by means of ERP system. So, BPR has to recombine and optimize in the implement of ERP. The ERP will achieve the success finally on other than both BPR and ERP are unified in together. In this paper, for example of the original shipyard workflow, BPR theory is preferably applied into the development of ERP system, the defects in these workflows of the shipyard are analyzed, and the advice of the workflow recombination is put forward. Secondly, the material dynamic management model of ERP system is built, BPR concept applied, material flow, fund flow and information flow integrated, and a user-defined workflow module designed. This makes the ERP system don't need to revise the code while workflows are changed. It just needs to input some corresponding data through the interface. This not only makes the ERP system run stably, but also promotes the rate while developing the ERP system. The actual application proves that this module is reliable and maintenance easily. The aims of user-defining workflows are achieved, and administration efficiency rose.
