At present, our country’s aerospace business is in rapid development period.However, it is obvious gap with the international first-class level. The traditional way ofenterprise management and business management is one of the important factors thatrestrict our country’s aerospace enterprises’ development. As an important part of theaerospace business, Chinese enterprises of fasteners in aviation need enhance corecompetitiveness through improving enterprise management level and organizationperformance, so as to seize the opportunity and meet the challenge in rapidly changingmarket condition. Then, they can adapt to the fierce competition in the internationalmarket. As a kind of advanced management thought and way of change, BPR has beenpopularized and applied in different industries and enterprises. But many enterprisesdon’t combine their own characteristics to find suitable reengineering method, so thatthe result is ineffective.In the light of the existing problem and the value chain of Chinese enterprises offasteners in aviation, the thesis creatively combines BPR(Business ProcessReengineering) and VCM(Value Chain Management) into the management of theenterprises of fasteners in aviation. Then,it established the BPR model based on thevalue chain(VC-BPR mode). The model provides theoretical and practical basis for theimplementation of BPR in the enterprises of fasteners in aviation.In the paper, first of all, the study of BPR and VCM are summarized. Then, itexpounds the developing situation and product characteristics of the aerospace fastenermanufacturing and analyzes the present situation of the process management. It pointsout that the BPR is an important means to change the management mode of ourcountry’s aerospace fastener manufacturing. It analyzes the function of VCM to BPR,then it points out that the management mode combined by the two can realize theenterprise value increment and the process performance improving.Secondly, the paper analyzes the basic activities and auxiliary activities in thevalue chain of the enterprises of fasteners in aviation. It introduces the principles of theVC-BPR. On the basis of them, it proposes the VC-BPR mode. Then, according to themodel, it proposes the dimensions of the process performance measurement and theperformance evaluation system. At last, it proposes the implementation strategy andsteps of the business process redesign. Finally, the paper takes the case of the BPR of HJ enterprise of fasteners inaviation and illustrates the implementation effect. It demonstrates the feasibility of theVC-BPR method.
