Research On Hot Topics Of Attention In Habitat/Human Settlements Of Asia

After the issue of "Slient Spring" written by Richel Carson in 1962, people began to reconsiderate the traditional development concept and realized that the resource and energy in the earth was too limited to be wasted by people at will. In 1976, the First Conference on Human Settlements was held in Vancouver. This is the first time that the world's countries around the world gathered together to dicuss the topic on the the building of human settlement at the height of the whole mankind, opening a new chapter of mankind in the history. While, the conference did not show great effect because of the cold war, too much stress on economic development and other factors.With the end of the cold war and the holding of the Second Conference on World Environment and Development in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro and the Second Conference on Human Settlements in Istanbul in 1996, habitat and sustainable development began to be the theme of the world's development.As the world's most populous and largest continent, Asia has a large number of developing countries and a lot of people who are seriously in need of basic living and survival infrastructure.In contrast with Africa, where has more serious problems in habitat, Asia has more powerful economic fundamentals. All above determines that Asia will be the major region in the world to resovle the problems on the construction of living environment for quite a long time in the future, and it will play a strong demonstration effect for Africa to resolve habitat environmental problems.This article summarizes the hot spots which human environmental researchers focus on the basis of both important theory of habitat and important historical events and literature in the field of environmental studies. After that, the article analyzes and sums up the feedback of the investigation from the experts in 3 different fields including architecture, urban planning and garden by constructing the hot spots system of Asian human environmental element.Take the above research as the foundation, the author brings a new measure method which is called "internet search engine surrogate measure" into the research. By using the new method, the author analyzes the characteristics of the time evolution and the spatial distributionand of the hot spots that Asia habitat, based on the data of internet from the view of social attention and acdemic attention angle.Taking the 37 attention spots of Asia habitat acquried by the above experts' investigation research into international human settlement conferences in history and its important declarations, author inspects the attention evolution of important habitat files in different historical stages.Finally, the author carries on the summary to the findings, puts forward the limitation of this research, and gives the proposal to the following research on the direction and content.
