The paper focuses on the study of street-section-design and street behaviors, paying attention on the contradiction between people and cars, to find the ways to harmonize the two functions by street-section-design.Based on the worldwide conditions of gradually stepping into the post-cars eras, the paper reviews the development stages of street-design. Through the study of street behaviors to find their influence and requirements on the street-section-design and also to analyze the influence and interaction between themselves. Then, based on the study of street behaviors, to make strategies for street-section-design and analyzes different design methods. Finally, to study the influence and effect of mode of street-section-design, and to review the implementing effects by study practical cases.
