The machining quality of cylinder block as the base component will effect on many performance of diesel engine. Under the condition of mass volume production, machining process quality control has great role of guaranteeing correctness and coherence of product dimensions. This thesis make cylinder block of CA6DL type diesel engine as study object,to analysis main factors which influence machining quality,such as machine geometry accuracy,tooling system,ambient temperature,abrasion, vibration etc.,as well as related control solutions by the numbers.Especially for three key process of CA6DL cylinder block ,which are finish machining top face ,cylinder bores and balcony ; finish machining crankshaft bore,camshaft bore and the other related holes on rear face;finish machining oil pump holes,respectively from actual requirement and characteristic of each operation, to further compare and study on machining quality control methods ,such as location selection,machining ways,compensation methods and quality monitor.Ultimately find out an optimum proposal and get external evaluation by the application result.Through researching these process quality ensure motheds,to summarize basic principles of proposal selection ,special for application of crankshaft bore as main location for finish cutting top face and cylinder bore,automatic compensation and alignment machining technology which be applied to machining cylinder block.At the same time ,author provide a complete new way which integrate trial cutting principle and automatic compensation to solve first part cutting problem,this applied method has been certified to reduce scrap rate greatly.Hope it can be useful for craft brother to make process plan henceforth.
