Diagonal web member double-wing column of reinforced concrete is mostly used in the area of heavy loaded single-storey industrial buildings. It is generally calculated by the program of plane bar system and can be simplized to solid-web cross section by creating models. After programming, the interior strength of each element in double-wing columns should be calculated by hands using hinged truss system. This essay cites out another calculation way since the programming way which mentioned above has its short advantages of too much predigestion, rough calculating precision and too much working load. The new calculation method inputs actual shapes for model creation instead of simplizing the completed shape of web member, zeugopodium and shoulder beam. This way is simple and can reach the interior strength directly without hand-made calculation.Comparing to these two calculation ways, the essay uses both calculation methods for the specific project and checked by the program of SAP2000 finite element.The essay analyzes the special characters of industrial buildings using the program of finite element. It also analyzes the influence of stiffness of double-wing column and web member comparing to the interior strength of all elements in double-wing columns and period of industrial buildings.Finally, the essay concludes an actual calculation method and draws some relevant suggestions after analyzing three calculation results.
