By a practical research, our company decides to improve No.4, No.8 and No.9 coal-burning boilers into gas-burning boilers in order to recycle and resume a large amount of gas which is given off from blast furnace, thereby save the coal and reduce the cost. Meanwhile, according to power demand change, the system can monitor, regular and control the boilers, the steam turbines and the power generators exactly in the plant. In addition, for safe produce and reduce work intensity, the control system is also improved while No.4, No.8 and No.9 boilers main bodies are improved.In thermal power plant, the comprehensive automation control system is a complicate, multi-various and lagging system. It's very important to design the load control system. Comparing different control strategy, we design boiler steam and burning system control loop and put forward the design thinking for the comprehensive automatic control system in the thermal plant. This system has come into running and the effect is satisfactory.
